Inspired by an original portrait of Soad Hosny, this piece is part of the “Portraits Telling Stories” collection. For this portrait, I chose to draw Soad Hosny with her iconic short hair and the black kohl that made her gaze unforgettable. Behind its brightness, I wanted to preserve the quiet sadness I have always felt in her eyes.
This artwork is not about recreating her image, but about holding on to the emotion she continues to leave behind.
More than a portrait, it is an invitation to wear a story.
